Location -
The
Hotel Garda is situated in one of the most suggestive areas of
Rome, just behind the corner of Via Veneto and 5 minutes by foot
to Piazza di Spagna and Trevi Fountain, near Villa Borghese Park.
From
Airport:
The
"Leonardo Da Vinci International Airport" is 33 km (20
miles)from the hotel.
From the airport you can take a cab but there's also the "Leonardo
- express" train to Termini Railway Station. From the station
you can simply have a walking, take a bus or a taxi, it will be
a 10/15 minute drive.
If you come by car:
Take the Fiumicino-Roma Highway ad follow it for 28 kilometers.
Exit on the Cristoforo Colombo Street, following directons to
the Center. At the end of the Cristoforo Colombo, follow directions
to the Colosseum and pass it. Turn left and then right to Via
Cavour. Follow directions to Termini. From the station go on to
Via Veneto; you'll find Lombardia street on your left.
From "Ciampino Airport" we suggest you to take a cab.
If you come by car, drive towards Roma Appia Nuova. After about
12 kms you'll reach Piazza San Giovanni in Laterano. From San
Giovanni take Via Merulana towards Santa Maria Maggiore. From
Santa Maria Maggiore follow the directions to Termini Station
and proceed towards Via Veneto; you'll find Lombardia street on
your left.
From
to Train Station:
From the Termini station you can reach the hotel with a walk,
or a bus or a taxi, it will be a 10/15 minute drive.
By
Car :
From
the Roma Nord Highway: distance about 20 km (11 miles).
From the autoroute exit proceed towards Rome. Take the Grande
Raccordo Anulare (ring road). Exit at Salario and follow the direction
to the city center(Centro) until you reach the end of the road
on Piazza Fiume, then follow the direction to Via Lombardia.
From Roma Est Autoroute: distance about 15 km (8 miles).
From the highway exit proceed towards Rome.
At the end of the road, turn left towards San Giovanni, and from
San Giovanni go down Via Merulana towards Santa Maria Maggiore.
From Santa Maria Maggiore follow the directions for Stazione Termini
then go along Via XX Settembre, Via Veneto and Via Lombardia,
on your left.
From Roma Sud Autoroute: distance about 16 km (10 miles)
From the autoroute proceed to the Grande Raccordo Anulare (ring
road), follow the direction to Casilina
Exit at Casilina towards the Center (Centro) and proceed to San
Giovanni. From San Giovanni go down in Via Merulana towards Santa
Maria Maggiore. From Santa Maria Maggiore follow the directions
for Stazione Termini. From Termini Station go along Via Veneto
and turn to Via Lombardia.

the strudel di carciofi alla romana ( Roman-style artichoke strudel),
riso al salto, pennette with asparagus tips and chestnuts mousse.

street. Inside, you can admire an large exposition of objets belonging
