This 4 star has just opened on September 3rd 2001, and is
located in Via Ludovisi; a minute’s walk from the famous Via Veneto.
The hotel is within walking distance from Trinità dei Monti, the
Spanish Steps and the beautiful gardens of Villa Borghese. The name
of the hotel has been inspired from the neighbourhood and is in fact
situated in front of the well-known Villa Ludovisi, constructed on
the Horti Sallustiani during the first part of the 17th century for
Cardinal Ludovico Ludovisi and his family. |

At the end of the 19th century though, the Villa was completely
destroyed. On its ruins, however, the whole district was entirely
rebuilt. The 1920 townhouse has been totally renovated into a modern
room with 57 rooms with bath or shower, consisting of 47 doubles, 5
singles and 5 executive doubles. Some rooms are non-smoking rooms,
and 3 rooms are specially designed for special access. One can
appreciate the carefully selected furnishings in total harmony with
the refreshing yellow and blue colours that represent the hotel. All
rooms have satellite TV, radio, air conditioning, direct telephone
line, voicemail facilities, Internet connection, European and
American outlets, safe, mini bar. |
